The Bahrain health ministry has reported 456 new cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 805 recoveries.
Of the new cases, 121 were among expatriate workers, 329 were contacts of active cases, and six were travel related. No new death was reported. The death toll stands at 262.
As many as 10,228 Covid-19 tests were carried out on October 7, the ministry said, taking the total number of recoveries to 69,411.
There are currently 69 Covid-19 cases in a critical condition, and 106 cases receiving treatment. 4,190 cases are stable out of a total of 4,259 active cases.
