In a historic agreement, the United Arab Emirates signed a peace accord with the State of Israel at a ceremony at the White House on September 15.
HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, signed the historic diplomatic peace accord with Israeli’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, on behalf of UAE President HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The peace accord is the first time in decades that any Arab country has given diplomatic recognition to the Jewish State.
The declaration was signed by President Trump, Sheikh Abdullah, Bahraini Foreign Minister and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

‘We, the undersigned, recognize the importance of maintaining and strengthening peace in the Middle East and around the world based on mutual understanding and coexistence, as well as respect for human dignity and freedom, including religious freedom.
The UAE delegation was represented by a number of senior government officials.
