Coronavirus: Saudi health ministry reports 672 COVID-19 cases

Saudi Arabia’s health ministry reported 672 new coronavirus cases on Tuesday, making the total number of cases 326,930. The ministry also recorded 1,092 new recoveries.

The city of Mecca recorded 62 cases, Medinah had 61 cases and Jeddah had 45 confirmed COVID-19 cases over the past 24 hours.

The death toll stood at 4,338 after 33 new fatalities were recorded, according to the Kingdom’s health ministry.

Meanwhile, the total number of recoveries was 305,022.

Saudi Arabia announced it will allow its citizens to exit and re-enter the Kingdom through all land, sea, and airports after January 1, 2021, given that all coronavirus-related precautionary measures are followed.

The Kingdom confirmed its first COVID-19 cases on March 2 via a Saudi Arabian national returning from Iran.
