UAE asks Turkey to stop meddling in Arab affairs

Defence Minister Akar’s remarks a new low for Ankara’s diplomacy, says Gargash

The UAE has asked Turkey to stop interfering in Arab affairs.

UAE’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Dr Anwar Gargash, has strongly criticised Turkey’s Defence Minister Hulusi Akar’s provocative remarks on the country’s foreign policy in an interview with a Qatari TV channel and said it was a new low for Turkey’s diplomacy.

“Relations are not managed by threats and there is no place for colonialist delusions in this day and age,” Anwar Gargash wrote on Twitter.
