Fourteen businesses in Dubai have been fined over violations of safety protocols, authorities announced on Friday.
Dubai Economy fined 14 establishments and warned 5 shops for not adhering to the precautionary measures to limit the spread of COVID-19.
As UAE authorities continued to crack down on violators of Covid-19 safety measures, hundreds have already been penalised. Some shops were shut, others were warned, and a number of residents have had to pay up fines. In the Capital alone, the Abu Dhabi Police have issued 1,672 fines over a two-month period.
